Mahila Shakti Bikash Kendra Nepal (MSBKN) announces vacancy for Program Officer (PO)

The Mahila Shakti Bikash Kendra Nepal (MSBKN) works to enhance women’s leadership capacity. MSBKN has been working in 12 districts of Nepal since 2008. We invite applications from qualified Nepali citizens for the following position:

Program Officer (PO)

The Program Officer (PO) will be based in Kathmandu with frequent field visits. The PO will report to the Executive Director.

The following tasks are anticipated for this position:

• Designing, developing, and coordination programs of MSBKN and supporting the field staff
• Leading preparations for and facilitation of workshops and training at the district, regional and central levels. Coordinating the development of materials for seminars. Preparing and giving presentations at MSBKN workshops/seminars.

Required qualification: At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies (Master’s Degree preferred) with at least three years of work experience. Should be fluent in English (written and spoken) and have good communication and computer skills.
