Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) announces vacancy for Documentation Officer
Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC), established in 1989 with the aim of protecting and promoting human rights and social justice in Nepal, requires application for the post of Documentation Officer. Eligible and interested candidates are requested to apply as per the announcement.
Position: Documentation officer for Madhesh, Gandaki and Karnali Province.
Required number: 3
Qualification: Master Degree in English, Human Rights, Law, Journalism or equivalent with minimum three years’ experience in documentation. The Documentation Officer is responsible to ensure the validity and reliability of human rights violation or abuse data or cases sent by INSEC District Representatives of the respective provinces. Similarly, they should demonstrate the skills and knowledge for editing the content to publish in inseconline and the Nepal Human Rights Year Book. Documentation Officer under the supervision of concerned authorities of the central office and Province Coordinator will ensure proper documentation of data and reports in Nepali and English language. They should be easy going and willing to work under time pressure. The Documentation Officer must have fundamental knowledge on the Constitution of Nepal, human rights, law, and social justice.
