National Federation of Youth NGO Nepal (NFYN), is a national-level federation working in the field of youth. It has been promoting environmental protection, disaster management, entrepreneurship, and advocacy by enhancing the capacity of youth organizations. Currently, NFYN is looking for a dynamic candidate for the position of project officer for anticipated project as follows;
Detailed Job Description/ Requirements:
Title of Position: Project Officer
Required No: 1 Person
Duty Station: Kathmandu
Reports to: Program Coordinator
Age: Below 35 years
Expected Date of Joining the Position: 1st August 2022
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in developing the work plan of project interventions in the community.
- Prepare and maintain the well documentation of the project.
- Draft the statistical and progress reports as per the requirements of funding organizations and governmental agencies.
- Assist in preparing the case study, success stories and project outcome analysis.
- Project data collection and management for effective project documentation.
- Support to program coordinator in activity planning, organizing, implementing and reporting.
- Coordinate and liaison with finance officer and line manager for effective budget expenses and logistics management.
- Assist in organizing the meetings, trainings and workshops with stakeholders, beneficiaries and other likeminded agencies.
Education and Experiences
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, or any Development Studies.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the development sector, preferably work experience in Disaster Risk Reduction and Mental Health Psychosocial Support Services.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong organizing, planning and documentation skills
- Strong language command over both Nepali and English
- Interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent report writing skills
- Candidate should have strong knowledge of excel program operation and project documentation
