Qualification details:
1. Must be Nepali citizen
2. Age: Not exceeding 18 to 35 years (Not exceeding 40 years for retired army)
3. Minimum academic qualification: For Municipal Police Assistant Inspector: Certificate level or 12 class (intermediate) graduate and For Municipal Police Constable: S.L.C. or equivalent graduate (Minimum qualification will not be applicable for retired army and police)
4. Driving license holder are given special preference
5. Height, chest and weight: Minimum height 5.2, chest minimum 31-33 inch and weight minimum 50 kg
6. Eye: not damage below -2 or +2 above
