National Banking Institute Limited (NBI) is national level apex banking and finance academy. It was established under the aegis of Nepal Bankers´ Association with support from Asian Development Bank. Apart from Nepal Banker’s Association member banks, its promoters include Nepal Rastra Bank and Rural Microfinance Development Center (RMDC). The institute is registered under the Nepal’s Company Act, 2063.
Hence, to meet the growing industry demand NBI wishes to recruit following positions:
Senior Assistant: Certification
Job Description
- Take charge of sales and marketing activities of NBI certification course.
- Be an active member of certification team.
- Support to set the action plan to execute certification sales activities.
- Support Manager to prepare budget, performance report as and when required.
- Maintain sound relationship with Bank’s HR officials and also with HR of other financial institutions.
- Handle the customer issues and strive for maximizing customer satisfaction
- Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing task on timely manner.
Skills & Knowledge
- Self-driven, action oriented, passionate with ‘Can-do’ attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
- Strong understanding of market dynamics preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skill, professional skill, confident and can do attitude.
- Must be conversant with Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in English and Nepali.
- Must have good communication skill (Written and verbal)
- Should be able to handle the pressure at work.
Requirements & Qualification
- Must have Bachelor’s degree, however MBA is preferred.
- Below 28 years.
- At least 1 years’ of experience in related field
- Two wheelers license will be an advantage.
Assistant: Examination & Certification
Job Description
- Proper maintenance of files of certification courses
- Liaise with the courier services for books & certificate dispatch
- Verify the courier bills with regard to delivery of kits.
- Coordinate and confirm examination venues for different types of examinations
- Email correspondence with exam service providers
- Provide reports to banks and BFIs as and when asked for
- Send emails and SMS alerts to the candidates enrolled in the certification courses
- Keep records of candidates enrolled in the certification courses
- Handle customer queries
- Approve registration of candidates in the software application.
- Frequently assist the seniors of the department.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts and conduct regular JANBI online classes.
- Handle exam conduction duties.
Skills & Knowledge

Assistant: Administration Department
Job Description
- Procuring Goods and follow up for delivery of goods:
- Managing and maintaining hard copy of incoming and outgoing inventories in files as per.
- Ensuring product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover demands by maintaining re-order level.
- Support line officer for FA Insurance and its quarterly physical verification.
- Verifying Bills from concern vendors & forward to finance department.
- Raise memo for land line and cell phone payment- monthly basis
- Servicing of Office Vehicles and maintaining log books of repair and maintenance
- Monitor the activities of outsourced staff and report at frequent intervals.
- Handle office vehicle log book, office key & its log book.
- Prepare Monthly vehicle report
- Follow up for vehicle renewal and bill book renewal
- Supporting for immediate supervisor as per request
- Prepare FA disposal note and dispose FA on need basis.
- Printing related works. (Brochures, Staff ID cards, Visiting Cards, Calendars, etc.)
- Program Support Roles
- Book and issue air tickets both national and international and verify bills of air tickets
- Delivering training programs and ensures its smooth delivery.
- Run training program virtually on need basis and follow up for participations.
- Logistics Support for all types of programs.
- Any other works assigned by the supervisor or line manager
Skills & Knowledge
