Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our fast-growing food delivery company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. They will play a key role in driving profitability, managing costs, and optimizing financial performance.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business growth.
- Analyze financial performance, track key metrics, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Accounting & Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial laws, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Cash Flow & Cost Management:
- Monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability and liquidity.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize expenses.
- Manage vendor and supplier payments while maintaining healthy business relationships.
Investment & Revenue Optimization:
- Analyze revenue streams and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
- Evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion plans.
- Support fundraising efforts, investor relations, and financial due diligence.
Technology & Process Improvement:
- Leverage financial software and automation tools to improve efficiency.
- Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CA, CPA, ACCA, or CFA qualification is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in finance management, preferably in the food tech, e-commerce, or logistics sector.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, accounting principles, and taxation.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Tally, Excel, Saral).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
