Job Description
Baniya Nirman Sewa is looking for an experienced Procurement Officer with a strong background in construction procurement. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as a Purchase Officer in a construction company, with a focus on sourcing materials, services, and equipment for civil engineering projects. A BBA or equivalent degree is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process for civil engineering projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services.
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and terms.
- Oversee purchasing, inventory control, and ensure the efficient use of resources.
- Work closely with project teams to align procurement activities with project schedules and requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure quality and compliance.
- Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ensure procurement practices comply with company policies and legal regulation.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Purchase Officer in a construction company.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.
