Job Description
We are seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Officer to be the first point of contact at our education consultancy. The role involves managing the front desk, greeting clients, answering inquiries, and providing administrative support to our consultants and team members. The Front Desk Officer will handle phone calls, emails, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-oriented approach to ensure a positive experience for clients and visitors.
Reception Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors with a positive attitude.
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Administrative Support:
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings.
- Maintain and update records, logs, and directories.
Customer Service:
- Address and resolve inquiries or complaints promptly.
- Provide accurate information about the organization’s services.
- Assist with visitor access and security protocols.
Coordination:
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor office supplies and request replenishment as needed.
- Assist in organizing events or activities, if required.
Technology Use:
- Operate office equipment, including computers, printers, and telecommunication devices.
- Use software applications to manage schedules, databases, or reports.
Job Specification
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Prior experience in a customer-facing or administrative role is an advantage.
