Job Description

Maintain and update financial records, including invoices, expense reports, and ledger entries.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and other financial records.
Prepare and assist in financial statement preparation and month-end/year-end closing activities.
Manage tax-related matters, including VAT, Excise Duty, TDS, and corporate tax filings, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
Handle Letter of Credit (LC) transactions and related banking documentation.
Monitor cash flow and provide regular financial reports to management.
Assist in audits by coordinating with auditors and providing necessary financial data.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes by analyzing financial trends and variances.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Use accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
Assist in developing and improving internal control procedures and financial policies.

Job Specification

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience as an accountant (preferably in the travel or hospitality industry).

Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong knowledge of Nepalese tax laws and financial regulations.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Other Requirements: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills.
