Job Description

This notice has been published to invite applications from interested Nepali citizens who meet the qualifications mentioned below for the post of General Manager as per Clause 11 of the Nepal Water Supply Corporation Act, 2046. Applicants are requested to submit the application within 30 (thirty) days from the date of publication of this notice (If the last date of application submission falls on a public holiday, the next working day will be considered).

1. Documents to be submitted with the application:

(a) Educational Qualification: At least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or Public Administration from a recognized academic institution.

(b) Experience: At least 10 years of work experience in a permanent position equivalent to the Gazetted Class III Officer in the Nepal Government, Provincial Government, Local Service, or a similar post in a university, government institution, or an organized institution established under existing laws or equivalent. Preference will be given to those with more qualifications and experience, especially in the water supply sector.

(c) Age: Must have completed 35 years and not exceed 60 years.

Applicants with higher qualifications and experience than the minimum requirements, and those who have worked in the water supply sector, will be given priority during selection.

Qualifications and Experience:

The application must include a self-declaration form, the prescribed application form, and a professional work plan prepared according to the guidelines for the appointment and nomination of officials of public bodies under the Ministry of Water Supply, 2078. These documents must be submitted along with the following:

1. A certified copy of the Nepali citizenship certificate.
2. A certified copy of the academic qualification certificates (equivalence certificate required if the degree is obtained from a foreign university).
3. A personal resume.
4. A certified copy of documents proving experience.
5. A professional work plan based on the concept of Nepal Water Supply Corporation, not exceeding 5000 words, prepared on separate sheets with the applicant's name, address, and signature, and sealed in an envelope.
6. A self-declaration form.

3. Selection Process: The ministry will shortlist the applicants after reviewing the received applications, and only those on the shortlist will be invited to present their professional work plan.

4. Application Fee: NPR 10,000 (Ten Thousand Only), which must be deposited under Revenue Title No. 14224 (Examination Fee) in the name of the Ministry of Water Supply, with the original bank voucher submitted along with the application.
