Job Description

The Ministry of Health, Gandaki Province, is seeking to fill the following positions for the Provincial Public Health Laboratory, Pokhara, and the Tuberculosis Treatment Center, Pokhara, in accordance with the "Physician and Health Worker Management Procedure on Contract Basis, 2079" until the end of the current Fiscal Year 2081/082 Ashad. • Position: Consultant Pulmonologist

• Minimum Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Internal Medicine with a DM in Pulmonology or a postgraduate degree in Pulmonology or a postgraduate degree in Internal Medicine with at least one year of continuous fellowship in Pulmonology. The applicant must be registered as a Pulmonology specialist with the Nepal Medical Council.

Application Form:

The form can be downloaded from the Ministry's website at mohp.gandaki.gov.np. The completed form, along with the required documents, should be submitted to the Ministry of Health, Ramghat, Pokhara.

Documents Required with the Application Form:

(a) Updated personal details, a copy of the Nepali citizenship certificate, copies of academic qualification certificates (SLC and above), a copy of the valid or renewed registration certificate from the relevant council, and copies of experience and training certificates related to the field.

(b) All submitted certificates must be self-attested by the applicant.

(c) All required documents must be obtained by the final application date. If equivalence needs to be shown, supporting documents must be submitted. Applications that are incomplete, submitted after the deadline, or contain conditions will not be accepted.

Application Fee:

NPR 1,200 (Twelve Hundred) for the 9th level and NPR 500 (Five Hundred) for the 5th level.

Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted by Wednesday, 2081/06/09 within office hours. If that day falls on a public holiday, the deadline will be extended to the next working day.

Examination Type: Interview. The interview schedule will be published on the Ministry's website.

Salary: The starting salary scale of the respective level as per the prevailing laws will be provided.

Duration: The contract will be valid until the end of the current Fiscal Year 2081/082 Ashad.

Eligibility Criteria for Candidates:

(a) The applicant must be a Nepali citizen.
(b) The applicant must be under 45 years of age.
(c) The applicant must not have been convicted by a court in cases of corruption or criminal charges.
(d) The applicant must not have been dismissed from government service with a disqualification for future government employment.
