Job Description
The Finance Manager will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of the group of companies, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. The role involves overseeing day-to-day finance functions, optimizing financial performance, and supporting business growth across industries such as Trading, IT, and Technology (Cloud Computing, Data Centers). The ideal candidate should have strong financial acumen, leadership abilities, and experience managing financial operations in a multi-company setup.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Assist in developing financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for multiple business units.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Manage and consolidate financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee cash flow management and working capital optimization.
- Manage all Account Receivable and Account Payables
- Manage different stakeholders like banks and govt entities activities.
- Maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Support financial operations related to Letters of Credit (LC), Telegraphic Transfers (TT), and trade finance instruments.
Import/Export & Trade Finance Management
- Oversee financial transactions related to import/export activities.
- Ensure proper costing, pricing, and profitability analysis for traded goods.
- Monitor compliance with trade finance regulations, tariffs, and duties.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations and tax laws.
- Assist in financial audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Cross-Company Financial Coordination
- Collaborate with department heads and finance teams across business units.
- Support financial integration and alignment between different companies.
- Monitor financial performance and recommend improvements.
Leadership & Team Development
- Supervise and mentor junior finance staff.
- Promote best practices in financial operations.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in financial management, with exposure to multiple business units.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and trade finance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
