Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Officer. The Business Development Officer will be responsible for creating new business opportunities, generating leads, managing accounts, and communication. The Business Development Officer will also be responsible for working with the marketing team to develop marketing strategies and increase sales.

Job Specification
  • Identifying potential customers through research, cold calling, or following up on inbound leads and inquiries
  • Developing a deep understanding of the services offered by their company to effectively communicate their value and benefits to potential customers.
  • Making outbound calls to prospective customers, explaining the services, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Crafting and delivering compelling sales pitches to persuade potential customers to use the company's services.
  • Managing and maintaining customer relationships, which may include follow-up calls, providing additional information, and addressing post-sale issues.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitors to better position the company's services.
  • Providing excellent customer service, even in cases where a sale is not made, to leave a positive impression and possibly lead to future opportunities.
  • Achieving or exceeding sales quotas and targets set by the company.
  • Actively seeking to close sales deals and record the results of each call (e.g., successful sale, callback scheduled, no interest).
  • Create and deliver compelling sales pitches tailored to the specific needs and preferences of each potential customer.
  • Negotiating with customers to renew contracts and retain business.
