Job Description
  • Work in close collaboration with the Sales, Marketing, TME, Finance and Legal teams in order to ensure alignment of consumer, trade, channel and distribution plans, and guarantee the development of integrated activities.
  • Translate Sales & Marketing strategy into detailed channel plans including account prioritization, category management, and distribution in line with KPIs. Develop appropriate programs that best deliver the brand’s objectives.
  • Tracks performance against agreed strategies and recommends corrective action when necessary.
  • Utilizes data to understand what is happening in the market, what the competition is doing, and what trends are emerging in the marketplace in order to develop the most effective plans within the confines of legislation.
  • Develops evaluation metrics before program implementation, monitors real-time program effectiveness, and measures post-event program effectiveness; Combines activity and program level evaluation, captures best practices, and shares across the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Oversees the management of business partnerships with key accounts to define plans in order to achieve KPIs and plan objectives.
  • Implements category management with key accounts in order to achieve win-win deals.
  • Responsible in managing sales & negotiations of KA partners.
  • Collects competitive/account information and reports to the immediate superior.

 

Job Specification
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in FMCG marketing and sales functions with proven track record of commercial achievements in KA channel.
  • Strong ability to manage key accounts by analysis, developing business proposals and business plans.
  • Languages: Nepali (fluent), English (upper-intermediate).
  • Computer literate (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Proficiency in reading and leveraging numbers. Good knowledge of legislation, external relations, marketing standards in tobacco industry.
