Job Description
- Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic cables and associated equipment.
- Conduct fiber splicing and testing to ensure optimal performance and connectivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fiber optic networks, including signal loss and outages.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and preventative measures on fiber installations.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with the engineering and field teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide excellent customer service during installations and service calls.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in fiber optic technology.
- Design a new Optical fiber network and implementation.
Job Specification
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in fiber optics is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance.
- Proficient in fiber splicing, testing, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and two wheeler.
