Job Description

Koala Solutions is an Australian Immigration consulting firm based in Sydney. Our core services are across Australian visas - Skilled Migration, Employer-sponsored visas and recruitment of International students to VET Colleges and Universities.

The role is for a highly motivated individual to support the business with other administrative functions and social media platforms. Excellent opportunity for those applying or considering applying for a student visa in Australia.

On a day to day basis, you will be expected to:

  •     Assist onshore and offshore students in pursuing higher studies at College and Universities
  •     Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to promote and provide course information and admission process on a day-to-day basis.
  •     Actively engaging with online users, stimulating, guiding, and participating in conversations. Authoring responses on the fly.
  •     Identify and escalate trends, topics, sentiments, and emerging issues
  •     According to brand guidelines, review and take appropriate action on social media posts, including rejecting or approving content, tracking, and escalating.
  •     Triage and respond to customers’ questions by selecting and personalising previously prepared responses or in a social context.
  •     Research customer service answers
  •     Maintaining admissions procedures, responding to student enquiries, and appropriate follow-up action.
  •     Provide administration support for the team; this can be writing statements or letters, and requesting and organising information from various clients.
  •     Responding to enquiries (in person, by phone, email etc.), sourcing information, following up and providing responses promptly.
  •     Assisting in marketing activities and special events
  •     General administrative duties such as maintaining student databases, maintaining regular contact with students, and assisting with organising and administering various documentation.
  •     Being the primary point of contact for Students on issues including, but not limited to, general course queries, class times, timetabling payments, and visa requirements.


Requirements:

  •  Be able to work between (9 am - 5 pm) Australian Time
  •  Access to dependable, high-speed Internet access
  •  Ability to work in a quiet and secure home office atmosphere. Work must be performed on a desktop or laptop computer. The use of a tablet or mobile phone is not feasible for this position
  •  Adept in social media platforms with the ability to generate and publish regular content
  •  Ability to compose well-written messages, with the use of good grammar and appropriate punctuation.
  •  Ability to connect with people, and communicate in a courteous, conversational style, while making decisions according to guidelines
  •  Demonstrated personal or professional success engaging in a social channel
  •  Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  •  Social media moderation and engagement experience preferred but not required
  •  College Degree or equivalent experience preferred
