Position: Coffee shop cook (Recent Job)

Job Description

•     Ensure smooth operations of the café
•     Lead, train, and schedule Kitchen Staffs
•     Estimate expected food consumption; then requisition or purchase supplies, or procure food from storage
•     Controlling and directing the food preparation process in terms of safety, sanitary food handling practices
•     Managing and working closely with other kitchen staff
•     Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and
•     Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
•     Responsible for ensuring the regulatory and sanitary requirements of the kitchen and ensuring food hygiene practices in the kitchen
•     Calculate food costs
