Job Description

We are looking for a Risk and compliance Officer responsible for ensuring a company complies with its outside regulatory requirements and internal policies. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop company compliance rules and regulations
  • Comply with KYC requirement as per NRB guidelines
  • Keep up to date with, and understand, relevant laws and regulations and suggest reviews on basic company policies
  • Perform risk assessments to understand risk level, significance and scope
  • Advise Management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports
  • Ensure that the company functions in an ethical manner
  • Educate employees on not only the regulations, but also the impact on the organization if these aren't complied with
  • Keep proper documentation 
  • Formulate and Execute Compliance & Risk Management Strategies
  • Coordinate with Regulator & Law Enforcement Bodies
  • Identify and solve legal and dispute related matters
  • Update prevailing policies, procedures, forms and formats in accordance with the government laws
  • Knowledge of Income Tax, VAT and Company law provisions

Job Specification

  • Bachelor’s in any field
  • Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures
  • Proficient in Spoken and written Nepali and English
  • Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Good Documentation skills
  • Good knowledge about Payment Service Providers
  • Knowledge of Compliance system & Application
