SW Nepal Pvt Ltd (Scott Wilson Nepal) is a Nepali firm registered with the government of Nepal in 2000. Its 50 plus team members cover areas of shelter, public buildings and Community Infrastructure Development  and associated livelihoods and social development.

The firm has an in-house robust Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Unit that provides participatory field surveys, evaluations and assessments of a range of social, gender and livelihoods based projects.

Job Description

  • Lead the organization's procurement process from preparation of requisition notes to goods received notes
  • Store keeping and assets management in database.
  • Provide logistics support (hiring of vehicle, hotel booking, etc.) to the SWN staff during field visits
  • Lead repair and maintenance of the organization's assets on a timely basis
  • Organize and manage the SWN events like meetings and workshop
  • Ensure team members' health and safety in the office and in the field
  • Provide general administrative support including mailing, scanning, and bookkeeping
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and update their database.
  • Provide administrative support and documentation in human resource management (vacancy announcement, selection and hiring)

Job Specification

  • University Degree preferably in management or related fields
  • At least 2 years of experience in administration or logistic management  
  • Ability to plan and establish priorities, meet deadlines and initiate and implement activities with minimal oversight and supervision
  • Sound Information Technology (IT) knowledge and use of collaborative tools like Trello, Slack, and Google workspace
  • Ability and willingness to travel outside the Kathmandu
  • Excellent in written and oral communication in both English and Nepali languages
  • Positive attitude and a good sense of humor.

Other considerations:

The driving license of a two-wheeler
