Job Description

  • Manage overall marketing field staff and team. 
  • Manage and onboard merchants. 
  • Create territory and regional based growth plan of merchant networks. 
  • Identifying trending products of market and help in local purchase and import planning.
  • Collaborate with operational team and creative team  to drive marketing programs and create strategy. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes.
  • Manage the marketing team across brand strategy, creative, content, media (owned, earned, paid), analytics, campaign management to develop and execute sales, branding and positioning initiatives across all channels:
  • Online: PR, Social Media/Performance marketing, digital platforms, onsite,
  • Offline: Print, event sponsorship, partnerships, Merchant Collaborations, Channel Agents.
  • Optimize campaigns through thoughtful testing, ultimately aiming to maximize area wise merchant acquisitions for company.
  • Work collaboratively with Group marketing functions, analytics, and campaign management teams,
  • Strengthen Godeals brand equity and positioning by identifying business,

Job Specification

  • Proven experience as marketing officer or similar role in marketplace/ecommerce or any relevant fields ,
  • Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles.
  • Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM)
  • Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Creativity and commercial awareness.
