Global College International (GCI) under the ownership of renowned educational brand name, Professional Educators Limited on a corporate organizational structure, is a center for the world classeducation which prepares every graduate to make a difference at global level. GCI is seeking to recruit a professionally competent candidate who should be committed to quality work,self-motivated and independent in handling the relevant tasks to deliver qualitative IT related services to post of IT/MIS Officer.

The main duty station will be at Mid Baneshwore, Kathmandu.

• Manage technology services to meet the operational requirements in the designated areas of the college.
• Manage LMS/ e-Library and EMIS.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems alongside diagnosing and solving hardware and software faults.
• Maintain and develop social sites with G suite service and instant messaging.
• Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
• Help setting up accounts for new users.
• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
• Repair and replace equipment as necessary, monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
• Participate in other duties and projects under the direction of department head.

Job Specification

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science or IT related subjects with first division from a reputed institution.
• At least two years of work experience in the related field.
• Excellent IT skills (Hardware Support, Network operation and Maintenance, Application Support).
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English language, and excellent analytical and report writing skills.
• Flexible to working hours and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work in self initiative manner and/or under minimal supervision, to accept responsibility and to respond with confidence to complex and evolving problems.

Accountability and Reporting: The IT/MIS Officer will be reporting to the IT Manager and will be
accountable to the Principal of the college.
