Job Description

Business Development Manager will be responsible for helping organizations obtain better brand recognition and financial growth. He/she is responsible for coordinating with company executives and sales & marketing professionals to review current market trends in order to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins.

Sales and Marketing

  • Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Develop business and marketing plans in coordination with the  Chief Executive Officer to achieve revenue goals.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Assesses new business opportunities on a consistent basis, including completing book of business reviews, responding to new business inquiries and requests for proposals, and maintaining territory/focus lists. Drives team member accountability and participation.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations.
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensure they are met.
  • Maintains timely, accurate and complete sales administration tasks as determined by the business.
  • Generate a weekly report of achievements, setbacks and action plan over the month priority and targeted account and Monthly Run Rate (MRR).
  • Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities.
  • Estimates partners’ needs and goals.
  • Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Relationship Management

  • Attend conferences, meetings and industry events.
  • Liaise with the finance team departments as appropriate
  • Train, coach and/or mentor other team members.
  • Evaluates options and resolves internal priorities.
  • Keep proper lead records and use office productivity tools for coordination and collaboration within the department and outside.
  • work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
  • Any other job assigned by the Executive Director.

Job Specification

Task Related skills and Certifications

  • Master’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  • At least 7 years’ experience in a managerial position.

Competencies and Soft Skills

  • Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Experience working with diverse countries specially South Asian Countries
  • Demonstrated leadership capability & ability to work with diverse set of people, resources & environment
  • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
  • Self motivated, proactive & execution oriented
  • Strong command in English language both written and speaking.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
