- Monitor the students discipline, language and good behavior to improve the performance
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis
- Handling extra curriculum activities (ESA) in the school
- Other duties as assigned

Nightingale was honoured with Secondary School Regional Shield, National Flag and a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000/- by the Government of Nepal on the auspicious occasion of International Literacy Day-2014. On the basis of SLC results-2071, this school was also ranked 2nd among schools all over Nepal. This ranking is based on SLC results and total number of students sitting for SLC exams from the school.
