Job Description
- Teaching students about financial reporting standards such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Providing individualized instruction to students who are struggling with material or whose needs are not being met by the standard curriculum
- Creating lesson plans and maintaining records of student progress on academic projects
- Assisting in the development of new programs, curricula, and materials based on changing education requirements
- Assigning homework and grading tests, quizzes, and other assessments
- Preparing reports summarizing students’ progress and evaluating their performance
- Developing lesson plans based on state and national standards for educational content
Job Specification
- Master’s Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
- Prior three experience as a Accounting teacher.
- A completed apprenticeship would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of teaching styles recommended.
- The candidate should have a strong commitment to progressive teaching
and professional development.
