VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
World Vision World Vision is a child focused relief, development and advocacy organization that has contributed to transformation in the lives of millions of children around the world in vulnerable situations. We are driven by Christian values to serve children and families regardless of their religion, age, gender, ethnicity, class and caste. We are looking for potential Nepalese candidates to fill out the following positions based in National Office, Lalitpur:


1. Programs Development and Quality Director [1]
Key Responsibilities: Leading the acquisitions for all international funding streams, including but not limited to: grants from bilateral, multi-national, (international) Foundations, private and major donors; Project Non-Sponsorship (PNS), child-sponsorship funding, and other emerging impact investments including contract funding. Ensure all World Vision International Nepal's Projects meeting relevant donors, government, and technical quality and compliance requirements; and Streamlining World Vision International Nepal's programme design, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning systems contributing to innovative and improved evidence for quality improvement, policy influence, international funding acquisitions & Country Strategy Implementation Plan (CSIP).
Minimum Qualifications and Experience required: Master's degree in international development, development studies/management, project management, economics, agriculture, public health, public/social policy, social sciences or equivalent with at least 7-10 years of working in the relevant leadership/managerial position in least developed/developing countries, preferably in South Asia or South East Asia region. Familiar with child focused, multi-sectoral and integrated development programmes. Similar experiences leading and implementing multi-sector in World Vision is an advantage. Proven successful experiences in coordinating and writing winning concept papers or proposals to key donors such as USAID, EU, FCDO, DFAT, GAC, MFAT, Global Fund, Nordic Governments and other donors.


2. Technical Head-Inclusive and Quality Education [1]
Key Responsibilities: The Technical Head (inclusive and Quality Education) is accountable to lead the design and write up of technically sound new (Education) programmes and concepts/proposals; to develop coherent Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) portfolio framework; to provide strategic quality oversight on (education) programmes portfolio, and to lead sector programmes external engagement with government, donors, peer local/INGOS and other stakeholders (research, university, think-tank, professional associations, etc.) in order to promote the evidence of World Vision's child-focused (Education) programmes impact; to engage in (education) policy formulation or implementation; and to create new funding opportunities for (Education) programmes.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in an education or related field with at least 5 years field experience in education programming or the equivalent in the headquarters of a major NGO (5-10 years preferred) Good writing and analytical skill. Good interpersonal and communication skills. At least 3 years of team leadership experience. Subject matter expert on Education programming/project models. Having good network with government, donors, and other education stakeholders.
